The activities provided in this course, especially those related to the four Maryland Teacher Technology Standard that we covered greatly increased my knowledge and understanding about the uses of technology in education. As a resut, I am confident that when I enter the classroom I will be prepared to utilize and incorporate technology into daily activities that will enrich the basic curriculum.
Technology is everywhere today and it emcompasses much more than word processing and spread sheets. Because teachers are responsible for preparing their students to be successful in society, it is imperative that teachers are knowledgable and provide effective uses of technology in the classroom. Technology is constantly changing; therefore, as a teacher it is important to stay abreast of what is happening with technology and how it can enhance the learning experiences in your classroom.
